| The great advantage with the Ore Sizer
VSI is in the differential crushing affect that happens
within the crusher during normal operation achieving the
following significant increases in production and yield
for mining companies. |
Example 1:

| Customer: Gold mine operator in South
Africa. Extraction
method: heap leeching.
The introduction of the Ore Sizer VSI increased
the yield of the leeching production by 18-20%.
This was due to the crushing action within the
Ore Sizer, which meant that the ore body fractured
significantly more along the weaker fault plains in the
ore, thus exposing more of the gold.
This was consistent throughout the ore sizes.

| The Ore Sizer VSI was introduced to
increase the fines content of the ball mill feed (normal
feed was from Nordberg Cone Crusher, this was fed
through an Ore Sizer VSI and then on to the ball mill).
The result was an increase of ball mill
production of 22%. This
improvement was replicated with their other ball mills. |
